At this moment, our retail sales channel is entirely through our website
and through our growing list of stockists.
Do you have a shop?
In addition to our online shopping site, we are now
building a list of stockists (see section for list of stockists) where
you can purchase your MissDejoir accessory.
Where are your goods made?
We source our goods from all over the world, from the UK, Europe and
Asia. Our number one commitment is to combine individual designs and
quality products with an excellent service. So, we have to look a little
beyond our shores to maintain our high and exact standards. It also
means we get out of the office occasionally to sunnier climes to source
our fabrics and goods, but don’t hold that against us!

Do you sell wholesale?
Yes, we are delighted to announce that we are able to wholesale many of
our products. Wholesale enquiries from the EU are also welcome
What other commercial projects do you
undertake?
We provide a wide range of services, including:
- exhibiting at trade fairs and consumer shows;
- Office presentations;
- Promotions - online and offline;
- Corporate promotions;
- product development; and
- consulting.

Do you provide a gift wrapping and message
card service?
Not at this moment, though each product purchased will included either a
dust bag (for handbags and scarves) or pouch (for jewellery). We are
looking into providing a gift wrapping and message card service in the
future, so watch this space!
Why do you ask for my email address,
telephone number, etc?
To err is human, and in minor instances, we may encounter a problem with
your order (e.g., if the product is out of stock or our carrier has a
technical problem) so we will need to contact you.
In other instances, you may wish to be informed of new lines of products
that we will introduce. If you join our free privilege membership
scheme, we will on occasions, send to you details of exclusive special
offers on certain products.
Will you pass on information about me to
anyone else?
None of your details registered with us is passed onto any third parties
for commercial or any other use whatsoever.
3. ORDERS
Can I place an order from abroad? Yes,
orders can be placed online from any part of the world, provided that
the delivery destination is within the UK, the European Union (see full
list of current EU member states in the “Deliveries” section of the
FAQ), the USA and Canada.
How do I place an order online?
It’s simple, from our secure website, simply peruse the products on
display, make your choice and click the “add to basket” icon. When you
have made all your choices, click on “checkout” either at the top right
hand corner of the screen or after you have added an item to basket and
you can proceed to completing your own details.
Are there any other means of placing an
order?
Yes, you can place your order by telephone by calling us on 01274
491427. Please have the correct product code, colour and quantity.
We hope to have a fax ordering facility in the near future.
You could post your order if you provide details of:
- the product code, description, colour and quantity;
- delivery address;
- your contact details – including name, telephone
number, email address and billing address (if different to the
delivery address); and
- a cheque for the correct amount (plus £4.95 for
postage and packing with next day delivery, or £2.95, if you would
prefer the package to be delivered by first class registered post)
made payable to “MissDejoir ”.
Because our business is geared towards using the latest
internet and bank transfer technology, there will be some delay in
processing orders by post as we also need to process your cheque. Please
therefore allow approximately 7-10 days for delivery on postal orders.
How do I keep track of progress of my
order?
We will email you to confirm when your order has been dispatched (I.e.
when the parcel is in the hands of the courier or postage company). You
should expect your parcel to arrive within our estimated time frame for
deliveries.
You can also log into our members area with a password - free
registration to our Privilege membership will allow you to keep track of
your order.
What if I change my mind on my purchase?
For customers within the UK and EU, you have a period of 10 days to
change your mind and return your purchase to us. Upon receipt of the
goods, we will refund your purchase (less the cost of the original
delivery). This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please note that for customers outside the EU we are unable to offer
this return.
For those eligible to make a return on their goods, the only conditions
to this policy are that:
- you do not use or damage the item(s), or allow such
items to be used or damaged;
- this return policy does not apply to specially
ordered or bespoke goods or goods where, for hygiene reasons, a
return cannot be accepted (for example, earrings, etc);
- you provide your original delivery note and
complete the details on the back of the page as to why you wish to
return the item(s); and
- You will need to bear the cost of returning the
item(s).
Sorry, if we were to repay the cost of returning the
item(s), we would have to build that cost into all our prices. This
peace of mind guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
If you wish, you could exchange your purchase for anything up to the
same value (though you would need to make payment of additional postage
and packing).

4. PAYMENT
What forms of payment do you accept?
For online orders, payment is through the Paypal secure payment system,
which accepts Visa and Maestro payments. Cheques and telephone payments
are also welcome.
Do I have to pay online?
No, you can also order over the telephone by calling us on 01274 491427.

Is VAT charged on my purchase?
Yes, all purchases are charged at the UK prevailing rate of VAT
(currently at 17.5%). For those receiving goods outside the EU, you will
need to contact your local customs and excise office to see how much
additional sales tax is payable.

Our dedication to online security is absolute. We are hosted by

hosting providers, and all payments are made through Paypal, one of the
most respected and secure online payment system processors in the world.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver across the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada and the European

How do you deliver your goods in the UK?
For the UK, we deliver by next day courier and by registered first class
post. For orders received on a working day (Monday to Fridays), we aim
to dispatch your order that day, or the following working day if the
order is received after 2pm or on a non-working day (i.e. Saturday,
Sunday and national public holidays in England).
The cost for next day delivery (added to your bill at checkout) is
£4.95. Registered first class post is charged at £2.95 (which can take
3-5 days for delivery from dispatch).
How do you deliver goods in the rest of
the European Union, USA and Canada?
We deliver by registered air mail (requiring signature from the carrier
on receipt) charged at:
- European Union addresses: £10 per order. Delivery
takes approximately 3-5 working days from dispatch.
- USA and Canada addresses: £15 per order. Delivery
takes approximately 10 working days from dispatch.
Does the delivery charge apply to each
item on my order?
No, you can buy up to 4 items at any one time and only pay one delivery
charge per order.
For more than 4 items in your order, you can call or email us and we
will look for a delivery method which will be the most cost effective
way for your order (we can contact our carrier).
Can you deliver to an alternative address?
Yes, you will be given the option of an alternative delivery address
when you go to checkout. For example, you can arrange for delivery to be
made to your work address or to your neighbor. If you would like to send
your purchase as a gift, you can arrange to send this direct to your
friend or loved one.
What if my parcel doesn’t arrive?
If you do not receive your goods within our estimated time frames, call
us and we will chase our carrier for you. If our carrier has confirmed
that your parcel has been lost, we will send another parcel to you in
its place. |
